Recovery
- First one to two weeks. Off from work.
- Two weeks. Return to light activities.
- Six weeks. No restrictions.
- First few days Swelling, tightness, and mild discomfort are expected. Movement is limited to support healing.
- About one week Swelling begins to improve, and incisions are monitored. Early changes in shape may be noticeable.
- Two to three weeks Bruising fades, and most patients return comfortably to normal daily activities.
- Four to six weeks Swelling continues to resolve, and the breast settles into a more natural contour.
